Ludo is a mobile app created for renowned pianist Ludovico Einaudi, offering fans exclusive, ephemeral content that encourages presence and connection. As Creative Director and Visual Designer, I shaped the app’s visual identity and conceptual direction, working closely with Einaudi himself and an international team of designers & developers.
Rooted in the idea “What can we subtract to make something better?”, Ludo explores the beauty of blank space to foster a more intimate experience—bringing fans closer to the artist through a minimalist, moment-driven interface that reflects Einaudi’s musical philosophy.
Along with this, the XE works as a compass. Whereby the user points their phone towards Einaudi’s physical location to receive content. Each photo, video or musical note can only be viewed once before it fades - an ephemeral experience, short-lived but beautiful.
